The setting up of this project meant for the Ourense Campus to be a pioneering scientific space in the specialization process and to fulfill the objective of promoting its uniqueness and differentiation by enhancing its capacities, fostering strategic collaborations and taking advantage of the resources of the immediate environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">At the beginning of the Campus Auga specialization process, the Strategic Plan was approved, whose main focus was on:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list is-style-default\">\n<li>Establish the Campus Auga as a recognized leader in education, research and transfer of results related to water<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Achieve greater exchange of knowledge and innovation with relevant local, regional (Euroregional), state and international communities<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Achieve greater capacity to secure sustainable financing in support of critical functions such as education, research, internationalization, extension services and technology commercialization<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"flex-basis:35%\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-group bg-gradient-primary-step-35 has-primary-background-color has-background\" style=\"padding-top:2rem;padding-right:4rem;padding-bottom:2rem;padding-left:4rem\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container is-layout-flow wp-block-group-is-layout-flow\">\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large ml-3 mr-3 pt-6\"><a href=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/08\/UVigo-CampusAuga-AcreditXunta-Plan-estrategico-2024-2027.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"749\" height=\"1024\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/08\/PlanEstratexico-2024-2027-749x1024.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-4049\" srcset=\"https:\/\/campusauga.uvigo.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/08\/PlanEstratexico-2024-2027-749x1024.jpg 749w, https:\/\/campusauga.uvigo.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/08\/PlanEstratexico-2024-2027-220x300.jpg 220w, https:\/\/campusauga.uvigo.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/08\/PlanEstratexico-2024-2027-768x1049.jpg 768w, https:\/\/campusauga.uvigo.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/08\/PlanEstratexico-2024-2027.jpg 849w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 749px) 100vw, 749px\" \/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:2rem\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-buttons is-layout-flex wp-block-buttons-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-button has-custom-width wp-block-button__width-25 is-style-outline aligncenter is-style-outline--1\"><a class=\"wp-block-button__link has-white-color has-text-color wp-element-button\" href=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/08\/UVigo-CampusAuga-AcreditXunta-Plan-estrategico-2024-2027.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Download PDF<\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:1rem\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Equality Plan<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Campus Auga Equality Plan is designed to run over a four-year period and is fully aligned with the content of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.uvigo.gal\/en\/university\/institutional-information\/plans-and-policies\/equality-plan\">\u201cThird Plan for Equality between Women and Men at the University of Vigo 2020\u20132024\u201d<\/a>. This institutional programme aims to serve as a benchmark in which effective equality between women and men forms a cross-cutting principle in its structure and operation, from which, in addition to promoting high-quality teaching and research of excellence, this social mandate is embraced in terms of values and human progress.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter
