Edificio Campus Auga

Created to be a center of reference in research related to water, it pools resources and capacities to develop unique research projects.

The Edificio Campus Auga holds eleven laboratories in which research groups develop scientific projects.

Management Area

The management area of the Campus, made up of the Director and the Management Department, are also located in its facilities.

Agreement for the construction of the building

Through a collaboration agreement between the Consellería de Cultura, Educación e Ordenación Universitaria Planning and the Universidade de Vigo for the construction and development of the Edificio Campus Auga, signed in October 2014, it was agreed that this building would be used primarily for research purposes, although with the possibility of also housing the management area of the Campus Auga. It is therefore that the building fulfills the objective of becoming the driving force of the Campus Auga, in such a way that it enhances the excellence of the research activity and the impact of its actions, enabling greater teaching and scientific development that facilitates the improvement of the competitiveness of the local industry.
