With the aim of “promoting therapeutic thermalism that can be perfectly combined with the recreational aspects of tourism,” the Ourense School of Nursing organized the 1st Conference on Thermalism: water, health, and knowledge at the Marcos Valcárcel Cultural Center in the city of Ourense. These conferences are aimed at health professionals and the general public.
The opening ceremony was attended by the director of the School, María Milagros Fernández Varela, the Vice-Rector of the Ourense Campus, Francisco Javier Rodríguez Rajo, and the president of the Official College of Nursing of Ourense, María José Menor Rodríguez.
